Wall hung Monitor or TV instead of Print for Wall Art?

This is the op again.

Rather than have a dedicated photo LCD at a wall art location, I am prefering the concept of using the living room tv for that purpose. That seems to be the most practical solution for me.

To address other comments, I don't think anyone would force others to watch a slideshow of their photos. Sometimes guests want to see photos and sometimes the slideshow could just be on while guests are over for conversation.

Having a slideshow on a tv isn't more braggadocious than having printed photos hanging on walls. A slideshow would be more interesting because of the variety and the background music. I once played a slideshow while talking to relatives and we were able to have a normal conversation simultaneously.
I still like oil paintings for wall decor but a huge advantage of digital photos is there slideshow capability. We can take advantage of both.
