What are you buying the lens for?

Partly landscape photography, partly for its capability to focus at 1:1 macro as well, resulting in a very peculiar kind of perspective, as you can have your tiny subject within a much wider field of view as with a regular macro lens.

First of all, from your exchanges in this thread suggested you should know the crop factor and Angle of View well. i.e., if any physical focal length on Full Frame sensor x crop factor = angle of view of that lens on crop sensor. Therefore, a 15mm FF lens on M43 will have 30mm AoV. Equally a 14mm native M43 lens on M43 will produce an eq FF AoV of 28mm on M43.

In fact, don't be messed up by the given name since the 14-45 of M43 is actually a wide angle (eq FF AoV of 28 on the wide end) to short telephoto (eq FF AoV of 90 on the long end) standard zoom lens. (P.S. M43 lenses use the physical focal length, which is same as any other FF or APS lenses in the market. Mostly only smaller sensor systems like those 1/2.3" etc compacts would market their lenses using the FF eq AoV instead of physical focal length).

Because of the crop factor, it makes most adapted FF wide angle lenses (could be very expensive in their native system) into a lens of not much significant meaning e.g. a 24 f/1.8 should be very expensive for its wide angle cover and fast speed, but when adapted (if by a cheap dummy adapter) on M43, it becomes a cheapy fifty (AoV of 48).

AF extension tube set might be an economy way for close up shooting. I use the Fotga brand (cheap as
