OK. There might be more to say about this, but I suggest searching the forum, this has been discussed to death. You'll gather all that relevant information - plus, many people just ignore these threads now b/c it's been rehashed so much.

Also, you might go to camerasize.com and put equivalent lenses on different format cameras and see the size/weight differences.

Typically shouldn’t be much difference between equivalent lenses. However, if you want that extra stop advantage that aps-c can offer, then size and weight differences can be significant.
