Hello, I found a huge promotion on a Tamron 150-600 G2, and I wonder if it would be wise to change my Canon 100-400 v1?
Besides the 200mm, what about the image quality between the 2?

Thank you

I have a Canon 6D.

I use a Tamron 150-600 G1 on my Canon 6D and am very pleased with the results, mostly for demanding bird photography. I had previously used the Canon 400L and there is negligible difference (if any) between those two lenses. The G2 should be just as good.

I have a Kenko 1.4TC which worked fine in AF on the 400L, and works fine (in AF) on my Tamron 150-600. That said, I find that enlarging/cropping with the 6D is more effective than using a TC (and I've used a Canon 1.4TC as well).
