Re: rubber grip glue

I just ran into this grip peeling problem with my Nikon d700 and I came across this forum looking for ideas. I went to my local hardware store and picked up some double sided carpet tape as you suggested, and it worked GREAT! Grip is back on their and feels totally solid. I feel much better about using tape than any type of glue as I didn't want to risk getting glue in any of the little screws or anything like that - or risk having it be an issue if the camera ever needs to be serviced. It worked so well I just had to come on here and share this in case anyone else is in the same situation and comes across this looking for info like me! The carpet tape was a win!

Thanks!
