Yes, the small lamp is a bit odd in where or why it is placed there.  I think it is actually mounted on the wall and not on the sign but why it is needed when there is a large lamp above the sign I have no idea.

The different  wall, shutter colours  and sills are pretty typical of the region and is I suppose 'shabby chic' as are a lot of the buildings etc.

The 'Ladies' under the arches are  eye-catching and possibly not noticed by everyone?
