Re: Anyone go from E-P5 to E-M10 II?

Hi all, I have read a lot of past forum posts and I'm leaning towards a E-M10 II as my travel camera. I wanted to get some feedback from owners since I have never really used an OMD. I currently own a PM2 and E-P5. I use 14, 20, 45, 12-32 lenses usually for travel. I also have a 14-140, 12-35 & 35-100 2.8.
My goal is a pocketable high quality setup. I travel to risky areas so I expect theft or loss, thus I keep it cheap on purpose.
First I got a E-PM2 + VF4, frankly I love this camera's photos. So long as I'm shooting a single style then the camera is set up how I like. Diversion from my default settings is difficult because it has so few controls. The SCP helps. IBIS isn't very good but I'll take it.
So, to fix the above I acquired an E-P5, still using the VF-4 on it. People seem to love this camera. It should check all my boxes right? It doesn't though, I don't enjoy using it. It's a tad too heavy and awkward with the VF-4 attached. I prefer the E-PM2, lack of controls notwithstanding.
I suppose what I'm asking is, does the E-M10 II hit the sweet spot? As I mentioned I have never used one. I did handle one in the store and I am impressed with how small it is. I expect someone will tell me to quit whining and use the PM2 or E-P5. It's possible I am being too picky after all, but I'd be happy to hear any thoughts.

I have an E-PM2 and bought a E-M10 mk1 not long ago. I didn’t think I needed the extra controls, I just wanted a EVF. I got used to the extra knobs and dials rather quick.
For street photography I still prefer the E-PM2. Unless, there's a good chance of considerable time for shooting wildlife I'm happy traveling with the E-PM2.

The form factor is about the same… An E-M10 mkii will be about 75 grams lighter than the E-P5 + VF-4. You have to decide is that enough a difference to make the switch…
