Panasonic price jumps
Mar 28, 2018
I have recently been considering either the Panasonic G7 or the G85. For a while they had been sitting at $600 (14-42mm kit) and $900 (12-60mm kit), respectively, but in the past week or so they have jumped to $800 and $1000. Those are significant increases, and I'm wondering if anyone has any insight into the reasons why. Are there seasonal concerns? Here in the northern hemisphere we just reached the beginning of spring, and maybe they figure people are starting to emerge from the confines of their homes to take more photos? Knowing the prices will likely drop again, and that I'm in no rush, I figure that I can wait it out. It just seems notable, that's all.
