I tried and the camera wouldn't take a picture or display the shutter speed. But then I have Shoot without lens turned off.

I don't see the need to go any further. If you like that lens then buy it.

Really why do you keep posting about it.

Because you ask and don't understand what I'm saying (if the former is a question) It may be my fault because I'm no native speaker, or you are just dis-pleasant.

Also because the OP asks for a 35mm, stating that he's not so much worried about AF. So the Mitakon is obviousy an serious option. I can't buy the lens and have a good return/waranty policy but depending on where the OP lives, it may not be an issue for him.

If the OP can buy the Mitakon in good conditions, then the T-stop thing may matter a lot. 1-stop is not a small thing. So it needs clarification IMO. https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/60941333

Besides, if what is stated in the BH comments is true, it is not a small thing. And it need further investigations. remember the "Fuji cheats on ISO" debate ? We could have another one : "Fuji cheats on fast lens aperture". Isn't this interesting to investigate ?

Georgehudetz (https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/60941333) seems to have succeeded in using a Fuji lens just like a manual lens. He's propbaly more open-minded and curious than you are.

It is really stunning how people lack curiosity and prefer to comfortably remain intellectually numb in easy-to-understand yet dubious assumptions.
