About to dive in: Is X-E3 + 35mm f1.4 a good 'single prime' camera choice?

This is true. It is the biggest reason why I will not get the X100F (I think). I like the picture quality from the samples that I have seen and I have enjoyed playing with it extensively at a local store. It is a sweet little camera. But getting in close, that 23mm lens (35mm equivalent) cannot do faces or busts in a way that I like.

(A wide angle lens plus the 56mm f1.2 would be a killer combination with the X-E3. But it would be lots of money and no longer a single prime.)
