Your aftermarket hood may be fine for you (and the OP for that matter) but it would significantly block the X-Pro’s finder, so would have been a very poor design choice for Fuji.

The stock hood as it stands is a poor design.

How do you know if the hood I ordered would block the viewfinder of the XPro more than the stock hood?

And who cares about the X-Pro?

You think none of the other hoods, and even the one supplied by Fuji for the 35 1.4, don't block part of the optical viewfinder of the XPro series of cameras?

Like the 23 f/1.4 that is larger around than the 35 and has that flower petal hood design.

Basically you post to threads just to start arguments. You really have nothing constructive to add.

Really why don't you step down off that soap box and knock that chip off your shoulder.
