Have an XE2 and both 35's. Shoot primarily jpeg with raw as a backup.

There are a few lenses that bring a smile to my face when they render. The 35/1.4 is one of them. Do it.

(In the SLR era, 50mm was everyone's prime lens that you purchased with your camera. Olympus had a f1.2, f1.4 and f1.8. I believe that Nikon was the same. Then you might add a second lens. Today it seems not so much.)
