Thanks for all the feedback guys. I am glad that many people are seeing what I am seeing, but I am also pleased to hear some useful contrary thoughts.

It is excellent that others are using the same combination that I am considering, or with the X-E2. (I enjoyed the One Camera, One Lens video.)

The Mikaton is pretty interesting. Here is a review from a guy whose analysis I generally find practical. It seems to perform well except for some barrel distortion. It is very heavy though. It is perhaps a bit too eccentric for a single prime.

The samples were all very useful! Agreed that at normal resolution it is hard to tell them apart, Just Shoot Me, especially the second set. Pixel peeping, especially on the first, I saw what I was looking for. jrscls, that picture of your cat is wonderful. I like the lens.

This feedback has been very encouraging. It is probably what I need to finally pull the trigger. I will report back.
