ILCA99m2 + Minolta AF 500

Just got my "new" Minolta AF 500 mirror lens.

Initial impression is that it works very fast and accurate with the ILCA99m2 body, although it is not readily used in conjunction with a 1.4 TC (I used a Vivitar that works well enough with my Sigma 500 EX), and stops working (necessitates focus micro adj. research ) in conjunction with a 2.0 (Kenko DGX MC4 - with AF).

I want to make it resistant to dust and moisture as much as I can, so any experience based suggestions - wheather to install a UV (protective) filter in front of the mirror, or any other advice will be welcome.

I'm also looking to equipe it with a tripod collar, to help me stabilize it. If any have the experience, I can sure use your help.

Thanks.
