About to dive in: Is X-E3 + 35mm f1.4 a good 'single prime' camera choice?

While I have the X-E2, the 35/1.4 is "special", not going to start the magic thing again. The 35/1.4 is the do it all lens, low light, portrait, landscape, product. I have posted this before and don't want to be repetitive, but here is a little show I did using mostly the X-E2 with just the 35/1.4 lens to show it's capabilities. IMO and others as well, I has a rendering unlike the 35/2 which I have tried, my daughter having one. Of course, this is subjective and many will not agree, but that's me.
