180mm 3.4f APO-TELYT-R -- Series 7.5 filter compatibility?

Hi all,

I have the 180mm 3.4f APO-TELYT-R (year of production : 1977). I noticed that the current UV filter is a bit yellowish. It is the case for my three other filters (screw in however). The filters are all B+W so I'd expect them to be of OK quality at least. I don't know if the tint is intended. It's not very noticeable but put on a white paper with some light, you can see the tiny difference in luminosity/tint.

I know, the best would be not to use any filter. HOWEVER, those lens are my father's and I'd feel that they're safer with that tiny extra protection. I also mind less to clean dust from a easily replaceable filter than a front element (scratches, etc). There might be sand where I am traveling... you never know!

So I decided to replace all filters... it's not very expensive. The only problem is that I am not sure if I can replace the one for the 180mm? The Series 7.5 filters aren't in production anymore (it's a ring holding the actual filter that has no thread on its own). Could I just put a new E60 filter?
