I would say your search for a wedding photog should start by looking for one who is struggling to stay in business. Then look at their work and style and hire the struggling (business success wise) who's work best appeals to you for the better chance of getting the pictures you want.

An individual looking to hire a photographer means PICTURE quality when he says "best".

A professional photographer means he who makes the most money when he says "best". Any used car sales person can tell you it is not the product that counts.
