Buying a first DSLR.

Hi everybody

I have always wanted to learn photography and recently decided to do so. I did a lot of research and everybody says that D3400 is the best option for beginners. But it seems to me that it's not that great of a camera.
Could you please give me some advice on what to buy?

Also I found these 2 cameras on a second hand website:

The first one is a D3400 and is brand new and the price is very good (AUD 470).

The second one is a D5500 camera with a lot of accessories but its not brand new (2500 shutter count) and it is more expensive. Almost double the price of the D3400. (many accessories though).

How about these two? which one do you reckon is a better camera for a beginner?

Thank you.
