Why do people complain so much about Sony's APS-C lenses?

I'm in that boring phase of picking my mirrorless system, comparing the Fuji X-T2 and the a6300/a6500. I don't want to shoot FF, since I'm downsizing from a FF DSLR specifically due to weight and size. I shoot primarily stills.

I often read about people complaining about Sony's APS-C lenses. They're usually cheaper (or have the same price) as Fuji's for similar specs. The inventory of lenses seems fine to me; at least it covers all my needs between the 35mm 1.8, the 10-18 f/4, and the 18-105 (though this one is a bit too heavy for me; I may opt for the 18-135 despite it being slower).

With price and inventory out of the way, we have optics (I can't count how many amazing photos I see online with APS-C camera/lenses), AF, feel, and WR (though only select lenses have WR on the Fuji as well).

What am I missing?

Should I not go with Sony APS-C?
