Questions re A7Riii / A7iii AF behaviour & shutter

Questions to those very familiar with the A7Riii and/or A7iii :

  1. In AF-C and single shot release mode - when using AF-ON for focus (AF decoupled from shutter release) and focussed on a stationary subject, does the camera 'hunt' for focus between shots while AF-ON is being kept depressed? I've noticed that on a Fuji X-T2 it tends to hunt a tiny bit from shot to shot (even if there is no movement of the subject), often resulting is slightly soft images. It appears that in continuous (CH or CL) mode it does not do this while the shutter release is kept mashed down, but the moment you release the shutter button, then it appears to hunt a bit. Curious to know if the Sony behaves the same. With a Nikon DSLR this does not happen at all, focus remains deadly still unless the subject moves - as one would expect.
  2. Mechanical shutter sound - how loud is it? Is there a difference in shutter sound between A7Riii and A7iii ? The shutter sound of the X-T2 is fairly low and pleasing, whereas on the Nikons it is quite loud and clunky.
  3. Last but not least - the quality of the LCD and EVF of the X-T2 is pretty good (especially for image review) - can anybody tell me how the A7Riii compares to it, and is the A7iii's LCD and EVF reasonable enough not to be frustrated by it coming from a Fuji X-T2?

Thanks in advance!
