APS-C crop on the A7 iii

I need your thoughts guys. Last week, Sony-Phil announced that they are open to receive pre-orders for U$40 deposit. The A7 iii will arrive April 27. Apparently, they are going to

The A7 iii will cost us U$2,300. Tax is already included in that. Plus they will provide an extra fz-100 battery, 1 x 32gb sony uhs-1 card, and 1 x 64gb uhs-3 sandisk card.

The A7 iii cropped to aps-c will yield about 10mp+.  I already have the 16-55 kit lens, 18-105 f4 G OSS PZ,   50 f1.8 OSS. I don't have any FE lenses yet. I do have my canon lenses (70-200 f2.8L IS, 50 stm, 85 f1.8 usm, tamron 17-35 f2.8-4.0) + the MB4 adapter. I don't have a midrange zoom like the 24-105 or 24-70 lens. I like the 24-105 f4 G OSS as I once used the 24-105 f4L. But I can't afford that now. Plus, the way I use my other cameras. I enjoy the longer range, even at a smaller aperture. So, I tend to lean more on the FE 24-240 f3.5-6.3. My vendor said, I could get that for U$890 or so. I think I can get a gray one for about U$100 less. The 24-105 f4 G OSS will set me back U$1,500.

So, my questions are:

1 - should I go for the a7 iii or best to wait for the a6700 or a6500 upgrade?

2 -if I go for the A7 iii, should I go for the 24-240 or spring for the 24-105?
