Back when it was a straight choice between X-Trans I and II, someone here said the difference was like looking at a matt print and a glossy, and that’s still the best way I can describe it. I’m still not sure how X-Trans III compares, it seems to have a little of both.

Besides which everyone should use the X-Pro1 for a while, even if you decide you hate it, it’s an experience. They haven’t made anything like it since, not even the X-P2 (although that has many different strengths of its own).

The XP-1 and X-100 are a bit quirky but the images are excellent IMHO. I'll use mine till they die.
