Auto-select mode for SR (on/off)?

I apologize in advance if this has been discussed before, but in light of some recent threads regarding AF issues (and general sharpness or lack thereof of photos in certain situations), does anyone know if the K-1 (or other Pentax DSLRs for that matter) has a mode which allows for the automatic selection of SR to be activated based on shutter speed?  It seems many folks believe it is best NOT to use SR when using relatively fast shutter speeds.  I am guilty of leaving SR on pretty much all the time, and sometimes wonder if my photos would be better with it turned off.  I frequently use TAv mode, and it seems like it would be pretty easy to pre-define your personal preferences for when you would want to have SR activated, and then the camera would simply do that for you...  For example, any time you/the camera selects a shutter speed faster than 1/1000 second, it automatically deactivates the SR?

Any input appreciated!

Thanks
