And yet, none of that supposed technical superiority translates into better images. Funny how that works, isn't it? It almost makes you think that bells and whistles aren't actually important for taking photographs. Could it be? Nah. We love bells and whistles. They must be important. All our criticism of Canon must be justified. Otherwise, we'd just be howling into the wind. And we would never do that, would we?
BUT the EOS M was my first love when it came to modern Digital Photography.
I was just amazed that such a small camera could so easily take such great pictures, that’s what I am referencing.
Huge assumption on your part. If all I did was take pictures with the 22 you MIGHT have a point... But with gx85 and f1.7 lenses the pictures are just as good if not better.

You said it is some subjective stuff and the pany is technically more advanced. It is not a good point IMHO. Personally, I like the output of a camera because it looks pleasing. It is indeed subjective.
But there are two undisputed points with the panasonic, I can carry 24-200mm focal length in a jacket, and I can do 4k video. Canon will get there, I just stopped waiting...
But why are you here, then ? It looks like you came here only to fuel a polemic.

I started in the canon EOS forum, moved to Lumix, and yeah, Canon is finally taking mirrorless seriously... two years too late.
