Do Sony a6300, a6500 Provide Shutter type – Mechanical only
1

In Manual, I saw a6300, a6500 has option E-FCS, which is not exactly Mechanical Shutter only

Menu --> Custom Setting --> Silent Shooting --> On (Which means use “Electronic Shutter only”)

Menu --> Custom Setting --> Silent Shooting --> Off (Don’t know ? “may be, it is Electronic Shutter only but create sound through software” I didn't understood in manual this option)

Menu --> Custom Setting --> e-Front Curtain Shut --> On (Uses the electronic front curtain shutter function)

Menu --> Custom Setting --> e-Front Curtain Shut --> Off (Does not use the electronic front curtain shutter function)  does this mean “Pure Mechanical Shutter Only” ?

but what if Silent shooting is “On” at the same time because "Silent shooting" is a separate menu option

Is there any option for Auto Shutter where the camera will decide to choose shutter type ?

My intention is to figure it out that does sony a6500 a6300 Provide following shutter type if yes then what language sony is using in menu to confuse :

1. Mechanical only

2. Electronic only

3. Electronic + Mechanical (E-FCS) (first half electronic then closing with Mechanical)

4. Auto (where camera will choose shutter type)

ANSWER:
Sony a6300 Sony a6500
