Especially if you bought it at the introductory price of $40.  Of course us early shoppers had to deal with an initial period of slow operation and a longer period of poor RAW handling, but Affinity took the issues seriously and addressed the problems with a series of free updates.

Even without the recent (and significant) improvements in RAW function and speed, Affinity could be used alongside the camera manufacturers' free software for a fairly complete post-processing solution.  Many photographers, even some serious enthusiasts, don't shoot raw anyway.
