Deep Parabolic vs Softbox with Grid

Hi, I'm a bit new to lighting to forgive my lack of knowledge or experience. Been reading a lot lately on this forum but one question I wanted to ask before buying my first lightboxes for my Godox V860II flashes I have with their speedlight Bowens mount.

I like Cheetah Stand's 34" Quick SoupBowl but for my style of shooting of couples or couples with a child for example, I probably need the light to be a bit away from them and guessing I need instead their Deep Parabolic RiceBowl.

My question is, can I get the Soupbowl (for when doing headshots that I'm starting to love after seeing photos here from others) and throw on a grid to get somewhat close to a Parabolic throw for the couple shots? Best of both worlds?? Newbee question.

Would appreciate any advice and suggestions for other brands as well if one would serve me better.
