X-Pro2 Eyecup Problem - how much of a problem is it?

I have been saving for an X-Pro2 for a while, I currently have an X100T but am excited for the X-Pro2 as I feel I would like the faster autofocus and plan on getting a 50mm f2. As I've read more about the X-Pro2 (both this forum and other sites) I am concerned about what seems like the widespread problem of the eyepiece falling off and needing to get it repaired by Fuji (sometimes repeatedly). As I said, I am excited to get an X-Pro2 but do not want to get a model that is repeatedly in for service or missing a piece and has the inner electronics exposed. What I am reading is scaring me away - but potentially I am only seeing a small number of owner's stories and need some perspective. Thanks for your thoughts.
