A6500 for indoor swimming

Hi guys.

my kids got into swimming. I'd like to take photos and AF on my Pentax K-1 is not always keeping up (and does terrible video).

Anyone here ever tried A6500 for shooting swimming? With some decent 200-300mm lens? Is the camera able to AF well on a swimmer swimming straight at the camera? Even indoors? How about in a video mode?

I would appreciate any help!

Or should I get Nikon D500? Anyone ever compared those two?

Thanks a lot!

Best,

Marek
