Snowfall in Vancouver

In Vancouver we only get 9 snow days per year and rarely sunshine or clear skies afterwards so this was a wonderful opportunity to capture a photo close to where I live in the blue hour before sunrise. I am a hobbyist and will not quit my day job but liked the result of this attempt.

Sony MK3 with 24-70 GM 2.8 lens ( I loved my MK2 but the MK 3 is really amazing for me with the improved ease of focus).....

Settings for Photo 1 were ISO 100, 5 sec, Aperture Priority, F13, 51mm Some editing in Capture 1.

Settings for photo 2 were ISO 3200, 1/125, F16, 24 mm. Editing in Capture 1

Long exposure of 5 seconds , 100 ISO.

Short exposure of 1/125 to capture the ducks at 3200 ISO,

Learning a lot here, and each and every day.
