I've experimented very briefly with focus peaking before, but never used it exclusively. I've never had great luck at concerts, there were always a couple of decent pictures, but more blurry ones than not.  I correctly assumed some of that was higher ISO and slower shutter speeds. Auto focusing was always an issue, and regardless of the lens used, there was nearly always some hunting, where I could feel the lens trying to focus and watch it slowly go in and out of focus.  With focus peaking, focusing was simple, and accurate.  The only pictures I had ANY issues with were the ones where the lighting became very dim and shutter speeds were below 1/20 of a second.  I'm very impressed and unless there is a lot of activity where autofocus is required, I doubt I'll ever use it again.

I take pictures like I play guitar. I will never be mistaken for Ansel Adams or Eric Clapton.
