Leica X1 - how useful for indoors / evening use?

An X1 is offered locally. Excellent condition, including the optional OVF, and a few months warranty. Price is not supersharp, but also not outrageous, and it is a very reliable store.

I have to admit I am tempted, it is a beautiful camera.

I know AF-speed is not great, but I am not an action-shooter, so that is no concern.

But otherwise, a 35m eq. camera should be an allround-cam to me, which includes use indoors without flash. And here is where I start to doubt, as the max. aperture is 2.8...

How useful is it for e.g. dinner-table portraits, snapping in a bar, that sort of stuff? So (near-) wide open, higher ISO? Colour-noise in itself is not something I worry about (I convert to B&W when colour noise gets too obvious) But is it easy to keep shutter speed at 1/60th or faster while still having not too underexposed results?
