E-300 challenge winner!
6

My first DSLR was the weird E-300.  I bought it cheaply as a discontinued end-of-line and retired it when I got the innovative E-510 (which I still reckon to be one of the first fully-developed DSLRs, loaded with new features that are now mainstream).

Ten years ago I got this shot with the E-300 and, despite the inadequacy of the technology by today's standards (8mp, limited ISO range), it still won the 'Demolition' challenge.  Admittedly there were very few entries!  But it's nice to be able to demonstrate that old cameras could make acceptable photos.

I always got a small amount of satisfaction from knowing that I was using Kodak when I used that camera.  They provided the sensor, appropriately enough.

May 2007.  EXIF data scrambled by later processing!
