Are the Samyangs just as good as the Nikon or Fuji?

I can't make a general jugment like that, but ...

I have just received the Samyang 135 mm 1:2 and from my first test shots I feel that the Samyang lens is optically at least as good as the FX90. The focus ring is a bit tight right now; a user wrote that it softens after a few months of use; I'll see. I have the EF-mount version; I thought it might be easier to sell the EF than the FX version when I no longer need the lens. As a bonus the adapter comes with a tripod attachment.

When I got the 90, I had come to the conclusion that I shoudn't get another long manual focus lens, but I couldn't resist the optical quality of the Samyang . Who knows, my next camera might have IBIS and a stabilized EVF when I focus. However I shouldn't expect too much of IBIS with manual lenses; someone pointed to me that IBIS may or may not be active when focusing depending on who makes the camera. One has to wait and see.

The 135 is not a substitute for the 90 though because they have different FOV and working distances.
