Upcoming trip inspired me to buy a new camera. My first digital. (I am an old lady, lol, and have been away from photography for many years.) After researching all the options, DSLRS, mirrorless, 4/3rds, point&shoot, bridge, etc. I decided I wanted this cult favorite. Oh, no! No inventory anywhere. Was about to pull the trigger on an RX100iii, and then realized the learning curve would be too steep to make much use of it on my trip. So I'll just use my iphone. But then I got a notice that B&H has the Ricoh back in stock! Whooee! Ran down there and got one (and the adapter and hood and wide angle and a couple of filters) So I'm going to take it to Europe but probably still rely on my phone while studying the manual. Still, I'm pretty excited. Will be reading these forums for tips -- so thanks to everyone in this community.
