The "sensation" is actually the most important aspect.

Save for very small sensor cameras all reasonable cameras nowadays are pretty good. Which ones you end up liking and sticking with has much more to do with the "sensation" (look and feel and handling) than with any technical aspect.

When I saw the E-M5 for the first time, in 2012, I immediately knew this was the one for me. For the first time I kept just using a single camera for 5 years in a row before even considering getting another one, and that other one I have now is the E-M5 II. I just like holding these cameras, without grip, and I love shooting with them. (I liked the E-M5 even more than the E-M5 II in terms of feel: the dials on the II are too large and too loose (more likely to be turned accidentally). There is absolutely no technical reason why I prefer these cameras over any other. They just "suit me".
