My decision was taken not because of image quality, better DR or ISO but something very important, the sensations.
Similar to you I own and have used lots of different system, and if you really want to talk sensations then you owe it to yourself to give REAL LEICA a try.
I know my images have now a little bit more of noise, maybe a little bit less resolution but the camera and lenses just feel good to hand and use.
As above, try a real Leica/Zeiss/Voig lens in M mount then you will truly understand what feel good really means
My M240 serves as my fun "photographer's camera", whereas my Sony ff mirrorless remains to be my more serious camera when IQ counts.
Your images are excellent and clearly you have eyes for detail, but like you've said it's my belief that you are hindering your photographic progress when bigger and better things can happen.
Imo fun and sensation can only take you this far which is kind of a shame really.
Be it on the city, seaside or country, I've been felling more and more comfortable with the system. If I'm walking around the city, a small bag with the 17mm + 45mm and I'm done. If I go to shoot landscapes, I carry my small backpack with the 8-18, 12-40 and 35-100 plus filters and tripod and I'm good to go. LE shots are just fun to do now. Bracket shots are also so easy to do even hand held that I don't care about DR.
So, guess I'll stay here for a while.
Some shots done since I bought the E-M1II

Thanks!
I've actually tested one M240 with a Leica 35mm lens and though I'd love to have one, I can't afford it.
What's limiting my photography it's not the gear, it's life: work, family, etc. So I just take the fun part out of it.
