Blind test - can you see any difference?
3

After reading all great reviews, I have recently bought the new AF-P FX 70-300mm lens.

I already have the "old" AF-S 70-300 so I decided to compare them before selling the old one.

After a few shots I am now undecided if the new AF-P FX is that much better than my old AF-S lens.

To my surprise, both lenses show up as "VR Nikon 70-300 4.5-5.6G" in metadata so if I did not know in what order I used both lenses I would not be able to tell by looking at the camera/lens info.

Anyway, the weather here was not good but I managed to get out one day in the late afternoon, after work and did some outdoor shots.

I also did some chart shooting so I am posting those as well. All shot in "S" focus mode, mirror up delayed release when using tripod; some taken hand-held, VR ON

Please do not judge my "creativity" or rather lack of it.

I greatly appreciate your replies:
