M6 - Is an EVF worth it for big lenses?

Hi All,

I have a trip coming up (2 months) and I'm taking my EF 70-200mm f4 IS with me.

Once attached to the M6, with the adapter, it's quite awkward. Has anyone tried the EVF v2, do you think it's worth it's big price tag and extra accessories to deal with.

My other smaller lenses, I have no issue with just using the screen. And when not using the telephoto, I'd likely wish to keep the EVF off, in order to easily chuck it into belt pouches and pockets (as I've found suits me when doing photography on the move)

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. It's just a shame you can't try before you buy!
