Using the Pentax-F 80-200 zoom on the K-1

When I started my Quixotic quest to test all my film-era lenses on my newly acquired K-1, I was advised to start with the primes.  My advisor didn't expect the zooms to be very good.  Yesterday, in the middle of what seemed a bland day I used the Pentax-F 80-200mm lens.  I took shots of a number of subject I thought would challenge the lens: trees with intricate branches, distance shots of the mountains, a 200mm shot of the Scientology building (some heat waves visible but aside from that seemed okay), a 200mm shot of a helicopter passing overhead.

I ended up liking the lens.  It is fairly small and lightweight but seems well-built.  I can see taking maybe the DFA 28-105 and this F 80-200 on a hike.
