Re: Polarizing Filter

As I posted 3 days ago. I purchased a 37mm polarizer with my G1X3 and it works fine, no vignetting. I really like that they've built in filter threads, the 37mm filter is really small and light. Much more fitting the form factor of the camera than the adaptor + 58mm filters I've used on previous Gs.

Is there any gap between the filter rim and lens barrel? The most frustrating thing for me in photography is the bits and dust my lenses always seem to attract. I bought a Hoya Anti-Static for my original G1 X and it made the situation even worse as due to the gap between the filter adapter and lens barrel I had three surfaces to clean - the camera lens and both sides of the filter.
