It looks silver.It seems more like an APSc camera than a FF one
Teasing works just fine
Maybe it is a silver edition of K-P?

What we're seeing is the end of the date written dd mm yy , so the 18 is a year.So - something the 18th of February.
It could also mean 218 days from now, so mid-September before PhotokinaWhat we're seeing is the end of the date written dd mm yy , so the 18 is a year.So - something the 18th of February.

Yes, it's much better if you want to use it in data bases. I always change the settings to the American style if I have use date for sorting procedures.In America, mm-dd-yy is typical
I append yy-mm-dd to file revisions because it keeps things orderly using file browser sorted alphabetically.
I don't understand dd-mm-yy convention because why would you want things sorted and grouped by day :^)
I understand your concern but I don't think a launch date of Feb 31 is at risk. Now.. someone boobishly choosing Feb 29 is a real concern. Please don't launch on leap day.
VERY TRUE. As an old-timer, from the PDML days, I second Joe's astute observation.Is this a teaser about the K-1ii?
When Pentax makes a second generation of a particular model, it usually turns out to be a superb camera. For example, there were the ZX-5n and PZ-1P (I still have two of them) from film days. From digital days we have the K-5II and IIs, and the K-3II.

You can have a look at your computer - go to the settings - next to regions - and now the settings for date and time. You can select numerous countries, regions or languages.As I understand it:
in America mm-dd-yy is typical;
in Europe dd-mm-yy is typical;
in Japan (and computers) yy-mm-dd is typical.
To me is seems the American method method makes no sense as it’s neither little-endian nor big-endian.
According to my German Pentax-Dealer:
I think this picture may not show the actual new camera, but may have used an existing body. It may be simply meant to stir the imagination with the info that a new body is about to be launched in february 2018.According to my German Pentax-Dealer:
My personal opinion:
- There is no Pentak K3 successor (in 2018)
- The picture does not show a K-70 successor.
Maybe a K-02 (FF?) with electronic viewfinder?
- A successor for the KP does not make much sense
- The top of the picture is too small for fullframe pentaprism.
It seems like that.I think this picture may not show the actual new camera, but may have used an existing body. It may be simply meant to stir the imagination with the info that a new body is about to be launched in february 2018.According to my German Pentax-Dealer:

The 'pentaprism' hump does look rather flat topped, hard to say though, but could be mirrorless,.According to my German Pentax-Dealer:

Interesting: they didn't say "There is no K-70 successor in 2018" or "The picture does not show an APS-C camera".According to my German Pentax-Dealer:

Indeed, this teaser could have been 'home made'.I think this picture may not show the actual new camera, but may have used an existing body. It may be simply meant to stir the imagination with the info that a new body is about to be launched in february 2018.
You could be right. And Asahi man never said it's a real teaser image ;-) (if he would say that, I would believe him of course)I think this picture may not show the actual new camera, but may have used an existing body. Don't you think it's a bit early to know the plan for the entireInteresting: they didn't say "There is no K-70 successor in 2018" or "The picture does not show an APS-C camera".According to my German Pentax-Dealer:

Asahi man never post a photo for criteria. Or for do you like it!You could be right.
