Why no 40mm pancake (or similar)?

prime, to be all day useful on m43, needs to be brighter than 2.8, unless some niche applications.

In my case f/2.8 zooms for convenience and I have never felt hampered by the aperture even in light so low I could hardly see.

Accurate AF first time every time whereas f/1.8 primes under the same light could AF only about 1 in 10 attempts, that fixed my prime lust for good.

OK I do need to use higher ISO but the raw file plus DxO Photolab and Prime noise reduction makes it all worthwhile.

...of camera and lens would give you a 1/10 AF success rate? Asking because I don't ever recall such poor AF rate... Well okay my GF1 was't the greatest in AF but my GX8 has been stellar with all my primes...
