I remember seeing some of these especially the last one.

The low key faded colours in the first shot are very nice

I recently looked through my gear and rediscovered the GX7. I picked it up when I went to walk the dog. It just started snowing. From all the images taken I liked this one best:

It may be only one but it is worth five. Nice wintery image. A keeper for sure !

Thanks I liked the photo story.

You have some great pictures on you site.

I like dramatic morning sky's. If I get lucky I have a short window of time to shoot these when I get out from work before the sun rises into my frame.

Time lapse of sunrise and clouds is fun to do while getting ready for work.

Love the owl pictures. I am so relieved that it wasn't injured.

I missed December, but let’s play again this month if anybody is interested. Let us see your 5 favourite pictures taken in January.

Just pictures you like for any reason at all.
Hi Nigel, do they have to be m4/3 pictures? Several of my favorites were shot with my iPhone. (Oops, heresy, I know.)

I broke the rules by adding only 2 photos. As I just bought the PEN-F, my micro 4/3 portfolio is limited for the moment.

2 is fine. Quality not quantity.

We need to take lots of pictures of our children growing up as they become adults in a flash.

They are also the most important pictures you will ever take.

Winter is synonymous with misery in London (and most of the UK), so I resorted to night shooting. Most of these have appeared on my night thread:

not really Manhattan, just a fancy water lettering cascade in Canary Wharf

I didn't take much in January - here's a taster of what I did manage:

The 'must-have' (for me) train photo:

Not a whole lot this month. The weather has been pretty awful for the most part, which has kept me away from planned shoots. Consequently, some of my favorites this month are quick grabs with my phone.

A robin on my back deck. I am not much of a wildlife shooter, and so I get happy on those rare occasions when I get any kind of wildlife picture.

Oakland Cemetery, close to home and one of my favorite places to shoot. As you can see from the background, what was originally a rural cemetery is now pretty urban.

Another iPhone shot, during a break in a figure drawing class. I have to use pretty extreme contrast for a figure class because otherwise the students can't see the shadows, and that harsh lighting ratio can be a real challenge for the limited dynamic range of the iPhone. I was surprised that this one came out. Well, the model, is gorgeous. She would probably look good in any kind of lighting.

This was what I saw when I was walking my dogs a few weeks ago. I didn't have time to go back and get another camera, and so I used what I had -- my phone again. Sorry for the telephone lines. That's just the way it is around here.

Telephone lines can be a great subject i have found.

As usual you show us some nice portraits. The bird is cute too.

Great set of London, a city I much miss.

Tell me about the third shot, it is most intriguing.
