One Mighty Little Camera
7

I have always admired photography. But unfortunately for me, most cameras just don't inspire me to get out there and shoot. That is until I got my hands on Fujifilm cameras.

I love the ability to set and play with the exposure triangle settings on this camera, even while its off. It has given me a great feel for photography and how to effectively alter settings for the best shot. Something I had a hard time grasping from previous experiences with Nikon / Canon DSLRs.

I also love the size of this camera. Even though I am 6'4" tall and have proportionate hands, I am able to grip this camera just fine. It takes a little bit of practice and adjustment, but anyone can learn how to hold this camera if they are willing to learn. I also do not use the additional grip that Fuji sells for this camera. What's the point of paying $150 for adding weight just so you can hold the camera a little better with your trigger hand. This camera is best held by focusing the grip on the lens - at least in my opinion. Again, something you have to get a feel for - but my point is basically that is camera is not uncomfortably small, even for large hands if you can learn to make adjustments.

I also love how easy this camera is to learn and to use. All the features are simple and self-explanatory. Bracketing is easy and customizable, I don't miss the ISO button on the X-T2 as I can customize other buttons to achieve the same effect. And its a great price for a camera - save the extra money for the lenses.

I simply love this camera and don't understand why anyone would pay more for an X-T2 unless they wanted dual memory cards or a larger EVF. The EVF is fine on here and you get a touch screen to boot.

My only gripe with this camera and I guess any Fuji camera is the price point of Fuji lenses. I wish the lenses were a little less expensive, but I guess you have to pay for quality. But there are many workarounds for this (adapters, Rokinon lenses, etc.) you just use the electronic focusing capability without a Fuji lens.
