Be aware that 45-200, M1 or M2 has their sweet spot at f/7.1 ~8, if know how to handle this lens properly, it is a good sharp lens among the consumer class. But my concern of this lens is the weight and size (better use a monopod) on smaller bodies (GX1, GX7 or GX85), the long focal length require certain min shutter speed to keep its stability, plus best result at f/7.1~8 just pile up the difficulty to use this lens.

Not always possible, especially at something like a school sports day.

14-140 M2 or 45-150 can produce similar or better result easier IMHO.

Unfortunately the 14-140 is twice as expensive and neither is weather resistant.
