Upgraded the 126 cartridge cam to a Pentax K1000. That’s when I knew I was decent. Then I set goals. Take 5 shots to get one keeper that was “good”. Once I started getting 5 out of 5 as “good” I moved on to other goals. The word decent would never be good enough and even though I’m my own worst critic, I have enough people who validate my work as good or better.

K1000 was my first 'real' camera, remember it fondly.

And I chose the word "decent" specifically because it was ambiguous and would mean different things to different  people.

(Still trying to get 5 out of 5).
