Re: Rare Minolta SRT

Nothing rare about a 101 in black/silver... unless it had a black shutter speed dial... early ones were black before a change to silver. It was my first SLR bought in 1968.. a second one bought within the next 12 months had a sliver shutter speed dial. And although that might qualify the early ones as "rare" the price would still be pretty low.

More "rare" would be an all black model... I have a  black SRT 102, 202... and a black SRT 100 (less expensive version of the 101 without a few features) that some folk don't believe exists. But I'm holding one now. And, of course, the SRT 101 was also available in black. Don't have one of those. All of mine are in pristine condition. Enjoy yours... it was  (and is!) a fine camera;.
