I repeat the post for people who missed the original post, because the work around for the issue of focus shift is essential for obtaining optimal sharpness from the lens when stopped down.

I've seen other discussion/reviews talk about this lens softening as it is stopped down but this is the first time I've seen it explained and a remedy offered.

Ivan recognized the problem as focus shift error and shows how to use Constant Preview mode to work around it. At which point he seems blown away by the resolving capability.

I haven't tested my copy yet but an interesting watch.
