You are forgetting one very important variable ...

the quality of those pixels.  Not sure where you got your numbers, but just because you have enough pixels to satisfy your formula doesn't mean a print will be good regardless of the pixel quality (i.e. high ISO might not work with this formula).

I would be willing to bet you could come up with a formula relating sensor size to print size that would work as well as the one you demonstrated.  You can't blindly go by either MP count or sensor size in figuring these thing out, but having shot m43, APSC and FF cameras for several years now, I am convinced that sensor size is at least as important as MP count in determining how big you can print.  At high ISO this skews even more in favor of bigger sensor vs more pixels.
